Investigate several quality Veterinary Technologist College Programs before applying
Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) have successfully passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination. To prepare for the test, most applicants have at least two years at the college level through veterinary technologist college programs. Students learn about anatomy, physiology, laboratory procedures, animal care methodology, and communication skills. Typically, graduates receive an associate in science degree. Most have participated in an externship program, as well. Registered veterinary technicians are in demand by veterinarians for clinics and hospitals.
